Error Message: Internal

If you are seeing the error message ‘Internal’ when attempting to enable real-time protection or run an antivirus scan please follow the below resolution

***Click here to install the Available Hotfix***

Once downloaded you will be prompted to accept the fix by selecting either ‘Yes’ or ‘Run’.

The update will then run in the background and a status bar will display in the right hand corner of the screen.

Upon completion the ScanGuard application should appear and initiate a Smart Scan resolving the error previously shown.

If this automated fix didn’t work you will need to proceed to uninstall, restart and reinstall the application.

This allows us to completely remove the app and install the latest version which will fix the problems you are experiencing.
